Heintzelman Leads Sandburg Women’s Golf in Dual vs. Augie JV

Averi Heintzelman (Sterling, Ill./Sterling) posted the low round for the Carl Sandburg College women’s golf team for the second straight event as the Chargers hosted Augustana JV in a dual meet Sunday at Lake Bracken Country Club.
Heintzelman shot a 93 to take third individually in the meet. Sandburg’s 392 total was 21 shots behind the Vikings.
Kelli Kennedy (Henry, Ill./Henry-Senachwine) was fourth with a 95 for the Chargers, and Elizabeth Whitford (Dahinda, Ill./Galva) carded a 98. Rylee Liles (Hennepin, Ill./Putnam County) rounded out Sandburg’s score with a 103.
